Three Keys to Mastering Stress
2 hours
Outline – Discover 3 keys to mastering stress and unlocking the secrets to more peace, harmony and wellbeing. This workshop incorporates interactive theory, games, personality tests and fun which will assist participants in gaining a greater understanding of their perceptions of stress and ways they can take positive control, build support systems and incorporate physical activity, time management and relaxation techniques to re-energize their daily lives and enhance well-being.
Learning Objectives –
- Participants will be able to identify types of stress in all aspects of their life and the medical consequences on their health.
- Through utilizing three simple keys, participants will gain clarity on how their own perceptions of stress affect their lives and learn ways to take positive control and build support systems.
- Participants will learn the three time and joy stealers that de-energize them and how to eliminate them.
- Participants will identify and be able to implement various tools and techniques to effectively deal with stress including physical and mental activity, time management and relaxation techniques.
- Participants will be able to develop and implement their own individual plan to promote more balance in five main aspects of their lives.
- Participants will have fun in the learning process.
Resume – Kathleen Plasse, R.N., MPA, is a Clinical Program Manager and a Health and Wellness Educator for Howard County General Hospital: A Member of Johns Hopkins System where she develops, coordinates and promotes interactive and meaningful health and wellness seminars for the community. She teaches easy to learn techniques and steps you can implement into your everyday life to promote more wellbeing, happiness, joy and a balanced healthy life style.
