About Us
The members of the Maryland Association of Professional Electrologists, Inc. are committed to promoting the highest standards for the practice of electrology. The goal of the association is to provide its members with quality continuing education, promote discussion and exchange of information among electrologists, and to disseminate information concerning the practice of electrology to other health professionals and the general public.
The Maryland Association of Professional Electrologists, Inc., founded in 1972, is an affiliate of the American Electrology Association, Inc. since 1972.
Members who are Maryland residents are licensed by the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, State Board of Nursing and under advisement from the Electrology Practice Committee.
